Welcome to Brune Medical Centre

Brune SurgeryThis surgery website is used to present all our patients with up to date news and information about our practice. We will keep it current with any developments or other details that we feel are relevant to you. 

As well as a source of information about our practice, the staff and the services we provide, we hope you will use this website as a useful resource for other health-related information.

The surgery will be closed for the Easter period  on Friday 6th April and Monday 9th April. If you require urgent medical treatment dring this time please telephone 0300 300 2012

Dr Juliet Reid, a second year doctor has now left us and is working at the Queen Alexandra Hospital. We wish her well.

Dr Charles Wharton, joined the practice at the begining of April and as with Dr Reid will be running his own surgeries and working closely with the other doctors. He is with us until the end of July and we wish him a warm welcome.

EXTENDED  HOURS

The doctors hold late surgeries on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6.30 p.m. for routine appointments for those who are unable to attend during normal opening hours.

Noticeboard

Appointments
Routine appointments are usually from 8.30 to 10.30am and 4.00 to 6.00pm. These appointments are made via the receptionist, either in person or over the phone

Home Visits
Requests for home visits should be made by telephoning Gosport 023 9279 4179 between 8.30 and 10.30am if at all possible. This timing enables the doctors to plan their rounds.

Test Results
It is an important safeguard for you to check the result of any test you are asked to have. Ask your doctor or nurse how long the result will take to come back to the practice, then please ring for results after 11.30am
